Juanita Gardine is the only public school on St. Croix with a program for the severely handicapped children. However, these students are confined in the classroom all day, since their are no special facilities that would allow them to participate in outdoor activities. We hope to be able to fence a portion of the grounds at Juanita Gardine school that would allow them to safely conduct outdoor exercises and therapy.
